Josephine Tran is a Financial Advisor at Wealth Design Group who brings a unique perspective shaped by years in Houston's startup and investment communities. Today, she helps individuals, families, and business owners build financial strategies that support the lives they want to create.
Before joining Wealth Design Group, Josephine worked alongside entrepreneurs, investors, and growing businesses across healthcare innovation, technology, hotel and real estate development, hospitality, and consumer industries. Supporting founders through growth, fundraising, and strategic decision-making gave her firsthand insight into how wealth is built, managed, and preserved.
Having personally experienced everything from startup investing and crowdfunding to active stock trading and blockchain communities, Josephine understands both the excitement of pursuing opportunity and the importance of disciplined decision-making. These experiences reinforced a lesson she now shares with clients: successful investing is often less about finding the next big thing and more about managing risk, avoiding costly mistakes, and staying committed to a thoughtful long-term plan.
Josephine believes there is no such thing as a perfect financial plan. The best plan is one that is thoughtfully tailored to a client's goals, values, preferences, and stage of life. Her role is to help clients cut through financial noise, understand their options, and build a strategy they can confidently implement over time.
While Josephine enjoys helping clients build wealth, she believes money is ultimately a tool to support a fuller life and the fullest expression of themselves. She is passionate about helping people pursue not only financial well-being, but also the freedom to invest in their health, relationships, families, communities, and the experiences that matter most.
A graduate of the University of Houston's Global Hospitality Leadership program, Josephine brings a service-first mindset to every client relationship. She holds her FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, is an Investment Adviser Representative, and is a licensed insurance agent.
Outside of work, Josephine is a certified yoga instructor who enjoys being active, exploring new restaurants, spending time outdoors, traveling, and creating meaningful experiences with family and friends. She lives in Houston with her fiancé and their two dogs.
